A great maternity cover role leading the Glow-worm brand, has come available for a full-time fixed 8 month contract. Subject to performance, further career opportunities may become available within the company at the end of the contract.
Managing a substantial marketing budget and managing a team of three, your job targets and responsibilities include:
Job Targets
Development and implementation of Glow-worm strategic marketing goals, plans and actions which lead to increased market share, sales volumes and profit margins.
Fully utilise all marketing mix options to support the short, medium and long term company goals and objectives
Development, implementation and effective management of marketing communications budget
Effective management of marketing communications team to ensure successful delivery of agreed activities
Main Responsibilities
Strategic brand marketing plan is developed, agreed with the relevant stakeholders and implemented
Annual and long term marketing communications objectives and actions are proposed and implemented with due regard to the market situation and company objectives
Annual marketing communications plan is developed and implemented with budgets approved and agreed
Marketing campaigns are developed, implemented and coordinated with other company functions using the full marketing mix as appropriate
External creative agencies are recommended, monitored and effectively managed on a day to day basis
All communications material is developed and produced in conjunction with external agencies ensuring correct strategic fit with company objectives and brand image
Develop the brands new media strategy ensuring compliance with corporate image and company objectives, and ensuring new media including website are effectively managed on a day to day basis
Develop the brands strategy for the loyalty scheme and ensure effective management on a day to day basis
Work closely with Product Management to ensure all new products are successfully launched and that all internal and external stakeholders and customers are communicated with in a timely manner
Liaise with Group Marketing, internal staff and external agencies to ensure that all communications material is in compliance with corporate design
Ensure effective management of marketing communications budget and provide regular reports as required by the Head of Brand and Product Management
Coordinate all forms of corporate communications and monitor effectiveness, ensuring leads are effectively managed, followed up and reported on
Work closely with the CRM team to ensure that CRM is central to all marketing and communications activity with all customer groups
Develop joint marketing campaigns and activities with merchants and key installers and the commercial team.
Monitor competitor promotional activity.
Provide monthly reports on marketing communications activity as required by the Head of Brand and Product Management
Undertake ad hoc projects as required by the Head of Brand and Product Management
