With business units in the UK, Belgium, Poland, Russia, Turkey, Romania and Bulgaria, we have plans for significant growth and expansion. As a result we now require a Group Financial Controller to join us to help support the organisation’s ongoing development. The Group Financial Controller will report directly to the WYGI Finance Director and be based in our Nottingham office, regularly working in the London office and visiting business units abroad.
The Group Financial Controller will oversee the day to day management of the WYGI finance team, based in Nottingham, and will work alongside the Finance Director to develop the Finance function. Consolidation and communication of financial information across business units will be a priority. The Group Financial Controller will also support the Managing Director and Financial Director in business analysis both internally and externally. The person we are seeking for this role must be ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualified, with significant post-qualification experience, ideally in a multi-site and multi-national environment. You will have strong management accounting and business analysis skills, as well as sound technical financial accounting knowledge. With previous experience at a similar level you will be comfortable influencing at both senior management and board level, and building relationships with internal colleagues at all levels. You will be career focused with a strong desire to succeed and have excellent interpersonal skills.
